Introduction

Our intensive workshops should provide the basic information and principles of liposuction, liposculpture, syringe fat grafting and autolipocollagen for beginners and those who already have started. Participants will be able to take part in live operation demonstrations and discussions.

Today liposuction and liposculpture is one of the most common cosmetic surgical techniques. Our special guest Dr. Pierre Fournier is one of the first and the best teachers of modern liposuction. The workshop will consist of both didactic and live operating room surgery. Also the participants will have a display of garment and instruments by manufacturers.

We intend to familiarize the physicians with the various methods of performing liposuction and the risks and complications. Audience participation in the theatre is welcomed during the demonstrations. The instructors will give a brief review of the evolution of liposuction, describe the various techniques of tumescent techniques and illustrate methods with satisfying results with minimal morbidity and a low instance of complications.
